Fill Cracks and Holes with Super Glue and Granulate
Super glue alone bonds two matching surfaces. When material is missing, you need a filler. With granulate and low-viscosity glue, you can rebuild the area in minutes.
How the 2K system works
The granulate readily absorbs the low-viscosity glue. As it cures, the granulate and adhesive form a solid compound known as the granulate matrix effect. The repaired area is waterproof, heat-resistant and resistant to chemicals.
Four-step guide
- Prepare. Clean and dry the area. Remove any loose fragments. Cover the back of a hole with adhesive tape to stop the granulate falling through.
- Add granulate. Fill the crack, hole or gap to a maximum depth of 10 mm.
- Apply glue. Apply the super glue precisely to the granulate. It soaks in and cures in seconds. A little heat is generated in the process.
- Finish. Build up additional layers for deeper areas. Then sand, drill and paint as needed.

Frequently asked questions
Can super glue fill holes?
Not on its own: super glue needs two closely fitting surfaces. Combined with filler granulate, it forms a solid mass that fills holes and cracks.
How thick can the layer be?
Up to 10 mm per application. Fill deeper areas in several layers.
Can I drill into the repaired area?
Yes. The cured compound can be sanded, drilled and painted.
